here’s everything you need!

ENJOY CATCHING UP TO ALL THE PEEPS WHO BECAME REPURPOSER PROS!

  • your homework

You’ll need a bubble mailer or woven plastic bag to make your substrate from.

Remove all labels and cut apart at the seams. You will need a large piece for your artwork, it should be approximately 18”x 20”, no smaller than 16”x12” and no larger than 20”x24”.

If you do not have a sewing machine, use clear packing tape to construct a large enough piece from smaller pieces. Butt the pieces up next to each other and tape neatly.

If you have a sewing machine, use the zigzag stitch to attach the pieces together. Again, just butt them up next to each other. If you’re using a bubble mailer, definitely do not overlap the edges. If you’re using a woven plastic bag, you can slightly overlap the edges.

  • day one supply list

Soft single-use plastic packaging like shopping bags, wrapping from paper towels and toilet paper, cleaned potato chip bags, bread bags, rinsed frozen food packaging, newspaper bags, and any other colorful soft and pliable fabric-like plastic.

You’ll need it in solid, non transparent colors and in clear, translucent colors as well.

    Sharp craft scissors

    Glue stick

Matte medium or school glue, brushes for spreading the glue

    Tacky glue (just in case)
