Guess what?

What your kid will learn

  • 🌺

    Repurposing Waste into Art Materials:

Kids discover that everyday plastic bags, wrappers, and mailers aren’t just trash — they can be cleaned, cut, and reused as free art supplies.

  • 🌼

    Basic Artistic Foundations: Backgrounds:

They learn how to start an artwork with a background, using pieces of plastic to set the stage (sky, grass, or other environments).

  • 🌸

    Shape Recognition & Cutting Skills:

Through petals and centers, children practice identifying and cutting circles, strips, and other shapes, strengthening fine motor control and pattern recognition.

  • 🐿️

    Color Sorting & Design Choices:

Kids sort plastics by color, choose palettes, and experiment with arrangement — an introduction to design, planning, and visual composition.

  • 🐈

    Layering & Composition:

By assembling centers, petals, and stems, children explore layering, spatial relationships, and how small pieces come together to form a whole picture.

  • 🐎

    Creative Imagination & Freedom:

In the variation lesson, they’re encouraged to go beyond flowers — making animals, landscapes, or fantastical creations, and experimenting with non-natural colors (purple horses, yellow skies).

What’s inside

lesson 4

Imagination Goes Wild!

Beyond flowers, anything is possible — purple horses, rainbow plants, crazy creatures, magical cities. Kids use their leftover plastics to invent new shapes, scenes, and stories, proving that recycled art has no limits.

lesson 1

Plastic Treasure Hunt + Backgrounds

Kids become “plastic detectives” at home — gathering colorful snack bags, bread bags, and mailers — then cut and glue big pieces to make a sky and grass background. It’s the start of turning trash into art!

lesson 2

Petals & Circles Galore

With scissors in hand, children cut out flower centers and petals from their collected plastics. They fold, layer, and experiment with shapes and colors — building a stash of parts for their blooming masterpiece.

lesson 3

Build Your Flower Garden

Now the magic happens! Kids glue down centers, tuck petals underneath, and add stems to create a vibrant plastic flower garden. They learn to arrange, layer, and customize their flowers any way they like.

👉 Together, these lessons build artistic skills + ecological awareness:

kids learn that their creativity can transform waste into beauty, while also practicing observation, design, and imaginative thinking.

Each lesson builds on the last, mixing eco-awareness, shape skills, color play, and imaginationall with free materials from home.
